Help with visualizing and using data on data.hartford.gov

This file contains Medical Loss Ratio data for the 2017 Reporting Year, including the issuer’s MLR, the MLR standard, and the average rebate per person by state and market.

Note that Socrata OData endpoints support basic filtering, for example to retrieve just the currently active Edmonton Public School (EPSB) ward boundaries from the dataset that contains the historical data as well:

To retrieve the EPSB ward boundaries as they were in 2014:

This kind of filtering may be better achieved in Tableau though.

Text to Socrata SQL Training Data (WIP)

Dataset repository for collecting training data composed of:

Input: Natural language questions (question) about a specific table schema (context) Output: Corresponding SoQL queries (answer > query) and Python Plotly code snippets (answer > plot)

This will serve as training data for a future iteration of sql-sodabot-v1.0.

Query EXPORT

All vendor payments made by the City of Chicago from 1996 to present. Payments from 1996 through 2002 have been rolled-up and appear as "2002." Total payment information is summarized for each vendor and contract number for 2003 through 2011. These data are extracted from the City’s Vendor, Contract, and Payment Search.

Time Period: 1996 to present.

Frequency: Data is updated daily.

Using Scraperwiki, we are recording data (including ratings, page views, row count, etc.) from high-value health data sets. We think this is very interesting for not only citizens but could also provide value back to government data maintainers to understand how their liberated data sets are being utilized.
