    Description

Perceived nuisance affects the quality of life in a neighborhood and can contribute to feelings of insecurity. The dataset shows various forms of nuisance, such as environmental degradation, social nuisance and traffic nuisance. The tables in this dataset contain nuisance reports from the police and reported nuisance in the Amsterdam-Amstelland Security Monitor. Our dashboard 'Safety in the picture' is also available for more nuisance figures. See also the data portal of the police and StatLine, the database of Statistics Netherlands.

    Description

This table contains figures on the number of registered nuisance incidents per month and per year. These are broken down by type of crime and by district and neighbourhood. The data are presented for all years according to the district and neighborhood classification of 2022. These concern registrations recorded in BVH of reported nuisance incidents on which efforts have been made and the police's own observations of nuisance incidents. The number of nuisance incidents with MK F010 Public drunkenness was lower in 2012 because this MK was only introduced on 1 July 2012. Since mid-March 2021, reports of nuisance incidents can also be loaded into BVH from the Service Module (SM). This concerns nuisance incidents reported via 0900-8844 (no emergency, but police). The incidents registered via the SM did not always involve police efforts. The increase in nuisance caused by people with confused behavior can be explained almost entirely by registrations of the SM that have been recorded in BVH. This applies to a lesser extent for the other items. Data available from: 2012 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are regularly updated. This may cause minor differences with previous publications. Updating the figures is necessary, for example, to be able to retroactively process the reclassification of municipalities or adjustment of coding. Changes as of July 17, 2023: Figures for June have been added. When will new numbers come out? The figures for July will be added on 15 August.

    Description

Esri ArcGIS Online (AGOL) Imagery Layer for accessing the Maryland 2050 Nuisance Tidal Inundation - Flood Depth Grid.Maryland 2050 Nuisance Tidal Inundation - Flood Depth Grid consists of an image service showing geographic areas throughout the State of Maryland that are projected to be impacted by a nuisance tidal flooding scenario in year 2050.The notion of nuisance tidal flooding, also known as sunny-day flooding, as a current threat to transportation infrastructure has become better understood. In most coastal locations, these abnormally high tides have traditionally occurred a few times per year, degrading road support facilities and causing traffic congestion. However, NOAA has documented that nuisance flooding has become significantly more common in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. In time, nuisance flooding is expected to become even more frequent and more hazardous as the area experiences sea-level change. Currently, there is no known map of areas prone to nuisance flooding.Maryland 2050 Nuisance Tidal Inundation - Flood Depth Grid data represents projected stillwater depths (ft) during a 'nuisance' tidal flooding scenario. This data is an attempt to aid in identifying potential vulnerabilities along Maryland's roadway infrastructure. The data supports MDOT State Highway Administration leadership and planners as they endeavor to mitigate or prevent the impacts of sea level change resulting from land surface subsidence and rising sea levels. The product uses sea-level projections to forecasts areas of inundation for a given scenario. University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES) provides the sea level change (SLC) estimate. SLC is localized using qualifying National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) tidal reference stations. The data may be used and redistributed for free but is not intended for legal use, since it likely contains inaccuracies. Description

Data collected from a face-to-face survey of UK consumers about their concerns, issues or problems in the communications market, specifically with regard to nuisance calls. We are considering ceasing the Nuisance Calls Diary Study that previously run every other year, as we believe it no longer provides significant additional value to our understanding of experience of nuisance calls. The regular Nuisance Calls Tracker will still be continuing, dependent on our return to face to face fieldwork. If this change would adversely affect you then please email market.research@ofcom.org.uk by 21 September 2020 explaining how you currently use the study and the impact of no longer having this research study.
